Young Musicians Program
Young Musicians Program (YMP) has served thousands of underprivileged youths across the greater Bay Area since 2007.
Music Education
Young Musicians Program (YMP) provides year-round music instruction through weekly private lessons and youth choir rehearsals held on Friday evenings. Students in the program benefit from consistent, personalized guidance that supports their musical growth and skill development.
YMP students participate in quarterly music recitals, showcasing their talents through solo performances and small ensemble collaborations. In addition, they often have the chance to perform in public events alongside professional musicians from around the world.
Performance Opportunities
YMP offers a dedicated mentorship program for high school students, empowering them to mentor and support younger participants in the program while developing leadership and communication skills.
Mentorship Opportunities
Each summer, selected high school students participate in YMP’s arts and culture exchange program, collaborating with international arts partners in Costa Rica and Taiwan for a transformative cross-cultural experience.
Arts & Culture Exchange Program
WePerform Org partners with ECAP (Emeryville Citizens Assistance Program) to support food distribution for individuals and families in need throughout the East Bay. YMP students participate in this meaningful volunteer work on a monthly basis, fostering community engagement and social responsibility.

YMP offers afterschool academic support for all students enrolled in the program at the WePerform Center, providing consistent guidance and resources throughout the school year.
